Hi there,
We are about to start a series of live video’s every Tuesday afternoon streaming from our youtube channel  starting this Tuesday. We are experiencing one or two delays with the album release (just really some technical stuff will be sorted soon) and we want to get it all perfectly right so while those bits and pieces are getting ironed out we wanted to really give folk some entertainment! We are going to start with a series of cover remakes. Take a song in the top 10 and mess it all around and perform our own version son them!

We are in the process of choosing a new cover song to do. This is something that we do now and again is to choose a current song in the charts (preferably something we can change and make into our own style). Thinking we might do a quirky take on the One Republic song ‘Good Life’ from the ‘Waking up’ album. Really like the feel good vibe of this song, lovely melody too.

Hi All,

Welcome to my website…. OK so we have the ‘Ashton Lane’ band site that will be for all things ‘Ashton Lane’ (www.ashtonlanemusic.com) Just to clear it up, that is the name of my new band, and we have an album ‘Magic In The Air’ that we are previewing tracks from here and also on the AL site too… We are in the middle of some discussions about releasing that album (meetings etc etc etc) so once all the pieces of the puzzle are in place it will be out there for folk to buy. Hopefully not too long now….

However I have my 2 previous albums out plus another new album about to be released under ‘Esther O’Connor’ so this is my blog for my solo music projects (last 2 albums plus any future releases under ‘Esther’) so sorry if this is confusing.

I will be blogging about our journey, posting pics and videos and we are also creating a community space so its easier to interact with folks.

Really appreciate all the amazing support and emails I get about the albums and also requests for live shows.
